Chamonix Mountain Guides: Guided Ski Tours in the Alps
Fantastique offers instruction in off-piste skiing beginning with
classic descents from the Aiguille du Midi and Grands Montets
tram and progressing to 45-50 degree slopes for those who long
to extreme ski. Once your skills are strong enough, apply your
ability to randonee-skiing on the famous Haute Route tour and
take in some exciting descents from a number of summits, including
the Aiguille Verte, Grand Combin, Mont Blanc, and Monte Rosa.
Ski Fantastique becomes a multi-faceted mountain experience, when
climbing a peak with Antoine because it requires a multi-skill
approach and thus a much more complete experience.
What is included: all courses include rentals (when needed), local transportation (lifts, ground transportation), meals in huts and hut sleep overs as needed as well as community equipment. Otherwise, you are responsible for your own lodging as well as meals outside course events in the various alpine resorts, or if day trips do not require hut sleep overs, lifts, and hut meals. A comprehensive equipment list tailored to your course will be provided as soon as you make your reservation.
The Couloir Couturier is a 45 to 55 degree couloir ranking as
the Alps' top extreme ski descent for those capable of first climbing
it to assess the conditions and skiing a thousand meters of unbroken
corn or hard corn snow. Extreme-couloir skiing for Antoine's die
hard students willing to rise risk level to another dimension!

BLANC NORTH FACE
A classic ski descent from the roof of Europe with the greatest

is exposed and can test one's endurance. A must for ski-mountaineers
interested in meeting the challenges of high altitude, technical
skiing. Not to be underestimated. Antoine requires his students
to have a great level of fitness and versatile techniques to tackle
all snow conditions. Exposed at top!
Route: Mont-Blanc, North Face
This ultra classic ski tour also offers exciting possibilities
to summit and ski some of Europe's greatest peaks, including the
Monte Rosa and the Grand Combin. It also traverses some of the
finest of Europe's mountain scenery and visits the renowned hut
system that links Chamonix and Zermatt or Saas Fee: a wonderful
multicultural ski tour with the added enticement of alpinism.
Antoine says it is more like a voyage exploring a different valley,
new horizons, and full alpine conditions! A must for explorers.
